Comprehensible input[edit source]

Hi! Thank you for contributing, but it looks like most (all?) the resources you added are language learning through methods other than comprehensible input.

Comprehensible input videos should be fully in the target language, and they should be designed to provide significant visual context which helps to understand a large amount of what is being said. (For audio and text, it's harder to provide context, so in those cases, it should mostly mean just "easy content".)

For example, LearnGaelic seems to be traditional language learning, using the native language (English).

BBC Alba is just content for native speakers. It may have some children's shows that could qualify as comprehensible input, and if so, please link to that section instead of the whole channel.

This video from Dreaming Spanish is a good example of the type of content this website is meant for. Dimpizzy (talk) 14:50, 11 October 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I've removed the Scottish Gaelic page along with all of the links. If you have a reason you believe the links qualify as comprehensible input, please let me know here or post in the Community Portal. Dimpizzy (talk) 15:14, 11 October 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
