Chinese, more specifically Standard Chinese or Standard Northern Mandarin, is the official language of China, and is also significantly used in Taiwan, Singapore, and the United Nations. It is the second most spoken language in the world, with about 1 billion speakers. It’s also the language with most native speakers.
